Questions
Can the reader still take a screenshot?
In our Android app, no. On iPhone, we detect it and notify you. In a desktop browser nothing can fully block it, so every page carries the reader's name, email and the time it was opened.
What happens after the document is opened?
The decryption key is deleted. The file cannot be opened again by the recipient or by us. You keep a record of who opened it, when, on which device and for how long.
Does the recipient need an account?
No. They confirm their email address with a six-digit code and the document opens.
What can I send?
PDFs and photos at launch. Video will follow.
How is this different from DocSend?
DocSend tracks reading on documents that stay available. Glimpse is built for the opposite case: one view, then the document is gone.
